We don’t use our music grants to fund individual songwriters or composers. Instead, we take a holistic approach to ensure we can support the greatest number of members and our community in general.

In the last financial year, APRA AMCOS was able to support our creators and members in the following categories: 

  • Industry and Community Partnerships - to sustain and support our music industry 
  • Skills Development - to provide professional development opportunities to songwriters and composers of all genres and skill levels 
  • Education - to grow the next generation of music makers
  • Recognition - to build confidence and creativity
  • Special Projects - to encourage the creation of new songs, compositions and events
  • Market Development - to support the music community so it can develop skills, opportunities and business capacity for music creators 
  • Our grants also invest in key music organisations that support our members and their industry, through core funding.
