The Song Of the Book

This year, four of our songwriters were set an interesting literary challenge: they were asked by the Auckland Writers Festival to compose a work inspired by a book featured in this year’s Festival.

Steve Abel, Anna Coddington, Reb Fountain and Francis Kora took the bait, and unveil their responses at this lovely evening of song and stories, held in the Heartland Festival Room in the Aotea Centre. Radio NZ Music 101 host Alex Behan MCs the conversation and performance.
