On Saturday 25 November, the annual NZ Hip Hop Summit will be held at Otahuhu Recreation Centre.

The NZ Hip Hop Summit is a yearly chance for everyone in the scene to come together, network, showcase their skills, and pass on knowledge.

Its a day to also pay our respects and acknowledge the late godfather of South Auckland Hip Hop Phil Fuemana who started the first Hip Hop summit in 1996-97.

The NZ Hip Hop Summit is an all age free community event promoting Hip Hop as a culture, with the focus on building unity & educating our future generation about the positive aspect of this culture, we would love for you to come down and join in on the action.

The program includes a beatboxing competition, aerosol art competition, jam sessions, live performances, workshops on songwriting/recording, beat-making, rap battling, breakin/poppin, plus the annual hip hop awards.
