Whether you play the occasional gig or are a stalwart of the live scene, it's time to gather your setlists and get those Performance Reports tidied up. The deadline to submit Performance Reports is 31 July 2018 for any gigs you played since 1 July 2017. And to those of you that submit throughout the year, we salute you!

Not sure what this is all about? Firstly, register your songs because when you play your songs live you are earning APRA Royalties. You just need to give us the details of your gigs: your band/performer name, where and when you performed, and the songs you performed at those venues in setlists.

APRA AMCOS paid out $7.2m in live performance royalties to Australian and New Zealand members who submitted Performance Reports for their gigs during the 2016-17 financial year, with $807,000 going to New Zealand members.
Although the rate earned per song changes each year depending on the total number of songs and gigs that are performed, last year New Zealand songwriters earned $4.61 each time they performed an original song of their own live.

So as an example, if a songwriter had performed 12 songs of their own at a gig, they would have earned a royalty payment of $55.32 for that show. And if they played that show 8 times, they would earn $442.56

All you have to do is tell us where, when, and what you played.
