Whether you play the occasional gig or are a stalwart of the live scene, it's time to gather your setlists and get those Performance Reports tidied up. The deadline to submit Performance Reports is 31 July 2019 for any gigs you played since 1 July 2018. And to those of you that submit throughout the year, we salute you!

Not sure what this is all about? Firstly, register your songs because when you play your songs live you are earning APRA Royalties. You just need to give us the details of your gigs: your band/performer name, where and when you performed, and the songs you performed at those venues in setlists.

While the amount changes each year depending on the number of songs and gigs that are performed, last year New Zealand songwriters earned $3.91 each time they performed an original song of their own live.

So, as an example, if a songwriter had performed 12 songs of their own at a gig, they would have earned a royalty payment of $46.92 for that show. And let's say they played that show 8 times, they would earn $375.36.
You just have to tell us where, when, and what you played.

If you need more help navigating the Performance Reports system you can:

Ready to get paid? Just log in to your APRA AMCOS member account and start submitting. You’ve got until 5pm on Tuesday 31 July to get your reports in for shows between 1 July 2018 and 30 June 2019. Royalties earned through Performance Reports will be paid in our November 2019 distribution.
